This workshop series is dedicated to building live audiovisual systems designed for digital performance and VJing. Combining theory and practice, the course focuses on the semiotic translation of data and signals into real-time narrative structures. Participants will delve into designing reactive environments in TouchDesigner capable of transforming sound, body movement, and the surrounding space into dynamic visual signals. We will learn how to program generative visuals based on audio and motion-tracking signals, manipulate lighting using data streams, and construct narratives that respond to events within a performance context.
The course consists of four online sessions held on November 4, 11, 18, and 25.

Embodied Interface
Embodied Interface emerged in early 2022 from the intersection of shared research interests and artistic practices—influenced by posthumanist studies and driven by a desire to create spaces for sharing and speculation regarding human, technological, and interspecies co-becoming.
The collective grew out of collaborations that began while both members were pursuing their Master’s degrees in New Technologies of the Arts at NABA in Milan, and which continued through various joint projects thereafter.
