TUTTO QUESTO SENTIRE — EXHIBITION

Recontemporary and Seeyousound International Music Film Festival present, in conjunction with the 5th anniversary of the association and the 10th anniversary of the festival, a complex cross-media program that celebrates the 10th anniversary of the international collective TUTTO QUESTO SENTIRE (TQS). The intention is to consolidate a dialogue that began in 2019 between the research supported by Recontemporary on video art and new media and the increasingly important connection between cinema and music promoted by Seeyousound, through a program that branches out into a series of events to investigate the works of the TQS collective. The exhibition explores four archive video works, Albe, Exercises On Displacement, Isola and Synchronized And Non-Synchronized Exercises Of Arrhythmic Empathy.

For those who want to delve deeper into the collective’s artistic practice, it is possible to take part in a live performance at Cinema Massimo, a listening appointment for the new vinyl Spazio Per Azioni Luminescenti (2023, Osàre! Edition) from Recontemporary, a talk and a DJ Set by Iwasa, always in the association’s spaces. The project is curated by Alessandro Maccarrone.
TQS
TUTTO QUESTO SENTIRE was born in 2014 from the meeting between Olivia Salvadori, Sandro Mussida and Rebecca Salvadori. Their way of collaborating has developed over time in an organic way, following exchanges that had to do with reflections on space and the search for a shared place that could host the individual practices of the three. Rebecca Salvadori has always worked with video in a non-linear way: materials assembled in blocks strongly connected with experimentation in the musical field. Olivia Salvadori focuses on vocal research beyond the limits of genre. A soprano by training, she has always experienced the voice as a sculpture, a vibrant material in which the interior and shared space become one. Sandro Mussida's research develops around the practice of intentional listening, the relationship between acoustic sound and synthetic sound, the relationship with the place.
ALL THIS FEELING constitutes a system of experiences that is articulated in a generative way through projects of residences, events, films and publications that explore the relationships between the different sound traditions, the perception of time and the environment.
