Emidio Frattaroli, editor-in-chief of AV Magazine, will guide the participants on a journey on current image reproduction technologies on which TVs and video projectors are based, both at home and at the cinema, through cult scenes from films that have made history and using a projection system set up in collaboration with BenQ. The differences between OLED, QLED, LED, miniLED and microLED TVs, which represent the present and the future of TVs, will be illustrated; there will be the main video projection technologies such as DLP, 3LCD, LcoS and all lighting systems, i.e. lamps, LEDs, lasers and hybrid systems. Televisions, the new Laser TVs and traditional ‘long-throw’ projection systems will be compared, to guide today’s and tomorrow’s consumers towards a more aware and informed choice among the best products for the reproduction of images within of your own home.
