On the occasion of Rebecca Salvadori‘s exhibition (February 22nd to March 11th at Recontemporary), Seeyousound International Music Film Festival, in collaboration with Recontemporary and CULTO, presents Rebecca Salvadori in conversation with Felice Moramarco (DEMO Moving Image Experimental Politics and collaborator at the Centre of Research and Education in Arts and Media at the University of Westminster, London) and Carlotta Magistris (i-D Italy, CULTO).
At 3:00 PM, The Sun Has No Shadow will be screened, followed by a discussion on the individual experience and collective rituals surrounding techno culture.
Rebecca Salvadori
Rebecca Salvadori, an Italian-Australian artist based in London, studied Screen and Film Studies at Goldsmiths University, London, and Visual and Performing Arts at IUAV, Venice. Her filmic works, exhibited at institutions and festivals such as the Freud Museum, the South London Gallery, and the IMAGES Festival, compose constellations of fragments of subjects, moments, and environments documented through a wide variety of techniques and media, coexisting equally and following one another according to the personal logic of free association. Subjectivity and the intimate dimension of the human being occupy a central place in her practice. Together with the collective Tutto Questo Sentire, she produces and curates projects and events aimed at creating specific spaces where sound can dialogue with different artistic disciplines.
Felice Moramarco
Felice Moramarco is a writer and curator, founding director of DEMO Moving Image Experimental Politics and collaborator of the Centre for Research and Education in Arts and Media at the University of Westminster. His practice and research focuses on rethinking art’s agency in light of the current cultural, technological, and political paradigms shifts, exploring the possibility of artistic practice to operate critically and configure new realities.

CULTO is a collective and an association that aims to shape the party experience, through the generation of a shared imagination, with the aim of restoring to clubbing its function as a social glue, bottom-up participation and horizontal usability.
