Fauna Nostra x Outhere Festival

Recontemporary, on the occasion of Outhere Festival presents Preda: installation and live audio visual by Fauna Nostra.
An intimate and primitive work, punctuated by a natural investigation, inhabits a deconsecrated church: a deceptively light tulle blends with the architecture of the place, becoming part of it – as if it had always been.

27 minutes of electronic music and moving images: the time needed to undertake a sensorial experience. A path traced initially by an oppressive thought, by the anxiety that characterizes the behavior of the prey, ends in a harmonious, coherent, calm awareness.
The prey becomes predator, or predator: an exchange of roles that reveal themselves to be part of the same growth path, made up of dark moments, of light, of humidity, of color. An invasive, opaque, inhospitable, raw nature becomes home: a place of sounds, rhythms, insects, life.

Preda was born in the humid and foggy woods of the Cuneo province and then found a new residence, on the occasion of Outhere, in the municipality of Bardassano. A journey of repulsion and acceptance, of revenge and rebirth – an itinerary that returns from the province to the province, a conscious return.
