We are a cultural association and an exhibition space located in the historical center of Turin.
Recontemporary, born in 2018, explores the impact of digital technologies in contemporary art: our goal is to create an active community and to encourage public participation by making the audiovisual language more accessible. Through our exhibitions, workshops and laboratories with schools, we encourage collaboration and dialogue between institutions and artists within the international scene, in order to offer a complete and updated vision of an art form that is constantly evolving.
Iole Pellion di Persano is the founder of Recontemporary /and it’s curated by a team composed by Giulia Turcati, Costanza Hardouin and Camilla Ferrero.

Location

We are located in the historical center of Turin, near to Mole Antonelliana - the venue of the National Cinema Museum.
Recontemporary is a meeting place, a space in which attend exhibition and talks, or even just pass by for a greeting.
From the collaboration with the historic design company Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, we create each of our installation, as a special project studied to combine design and contemporary art.
